CSIRO is expanding the Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) Team to include an Assembly, Integration and Verification (AIV) Technician.
The AIV Technician will support all AIV related installation, testing and verification activities for the System Under Test (SKA-Low Telescope Array Assembly, Integrated Test Facility).
The AIV Technician will be proficient in the use of complex RF test equipment and familiar with the operation and connection of computer and IT networks including use of RF over Fibre and Fibre maintenance for the System Under test.
Your duties will include:
- Fault find and repair RF and electronic modules to the component level.
- Provide general support for the analogue and digital electronic systems under test and test environments during construction.
- Assist with installation of the System Under Test electronic systems to support AIV activities.
- Provide technical, operational and maintenance support in a range of technical disciplines.
- Maintenance of System Under Test facilities and inventory.
- Facilitate procurement of electronic equipment, electronic components, and other such items.
Location: Geraldton, Western Australia
Salary: AU$68,148 - AU$86,733 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: Indefinite – Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 0.8FTE if Part-Time, Full-Time preferred)
