Remuneration: $69,220 - $74,042 pa HEW Level 04 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity
If you love working with animals or are considering a change in your career path, we will support you with establishing your career as an Animal Technologist within the Monash Animal Research Platform (MARP).
MARP currently have five exciting Animal Technologist positions to fill across the team. This position will be responsible for supporting the Faculty’s research base and provide management and care services for animals of various species through general, technical and medical procedures under the frameworks of established policies.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position will be maintaining accurate, timely records for researchers, providing constant optimum animal welfare conditions and supervising junior staff in undertaking similar duties.
We are seeking someone with a completion of a Diploma of Applied Science (Animal Technology); or progression towards the completion of Diploma in Animal Technology with relevant work related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You will also possess a passion for working with animals and a collegial, collaborative and engaging work ethic.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
