Job Description
Working under the ‘Manager – Architecture & Development’, the Analyst Intern will be responsible for reviewing incoming requests from our internal customer base across the areas of robotic process automation (RPA) and business intelligence (BI).
The intern may then assist internal or offshore development teams to deliver solutions. The position will be required to assist in testing of delivered solutions, ensuring appropriate documentation is provided and maintained.
The intern will utilise their knowledge and expertise to challenge proposed solutions and designs to ensure final outputs are fit for purpose and fit into the Macmahon system landscape. The ‘Manager – Architecture & Development’ whilst ultimately accountable, will provide guidance on existing systems and processes and the position will form part of a larger technology team.
Required skills and knowledge:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to develop concise requirements from various stakeholders across the business
- Agile knowledge in relation to resource management, ensuring development resources have a pipeline of work available
Desired skills:
- Ability to work autonomously, without micromanagement of tasks
- Ability to understand and work with competing priorities
Qualifications:
You should be working towards or have a qualification in one of the following;
- Information Technology, Information Systems
- Business/commerce/management
- Combined Business, computer science
Working 3-5 days a week will be considered
This role amounts to $17,000 or the part-time equivalent for an undergraduate or postgraduate working for six months.
