In this varied and challenging role, you will contribute to high level strategic planning, staff management and oversight of the day-to-day operation of the AITC. Your relevant science or engineering post graduate qualification and extensive experience in the management and delivery of large projects with technologies of interest to astronomical  or space research will be essential. Your proven track record of leading large effective teams according to best-practice project management protocols should be combined with extensive systems level technology and management experience across optical, mechanical, electronic and information technologies.
