About the Role

The Administrator performs a broad range of administrative and digital services to ensure the delivery of organisational and professional development events, programs and initiatives. This position will also support projects within the unit that contribute to the success of deliverables and services across People, Talent and Culture.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the logistical requirements for programs such as venues resources, equipment, catering, room set up/pack down
  • Prepare workshop materials such as participant profiles, attendance sheets, handouts and pre-learning activities
  • Manage the Staff Development inbox by assessing, prioritising, and preparing responses to all enquiries in a professional manner
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects by undertaking research, drafting documents, preparing budgets and costings, liaising with key stakeholders and monitoring the day-to-day coordination of the projects
  • Design and edit learning materials, quick guides and other written resources
  • Implement and maintain systems and processes to ensure an effective, confidential and accessible electronic records and administrative management system of emails, files and other associated records

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience in an administrative support role with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, in a diverse and complex environment
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively at all levels
  • Ability to produce high-quality written correspondence and presentations with high level attention to detail and the ability to provide editing and presentation assistance on a broad range of documentations
  • Knowledge of human resource and training functions will be highly regarded
