  • 6 months Full Time Fixed Term Contract (potential for extension)

We are seeking an enthusiastic person with relevant experience to provide high-level administrative, communications, and business support within the LDTI unit. 

The main responsibilities for the role will include: 

  • Purchasing, arranging quotes and invoice raising/reconciling
  • Communication, engagement, and events, including room bookings, equipment hire, etc.
  • Managing central email and phone accounts
  • Website and Sharepoint maintenance

 The role will also include supporting the Education and Innovation Coordinator with project-based activities such as: 

  • Research and sector scans on strategic priorities
  • Drafting content for LDTI engagement reports and updates to Schools and Colleges
  • Servicing reference and working groups, including scheduling meetings, organising minutes, agendas and documentation
  • Monitoring communications channels for communities of practice

This fixed term position is full time at a HEW 5 Higher Education Level until October 2024, with potential for extension and will be based at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land)

About the Unit

The Academic Division delivers a range of services and resources including student administration, student support, university libraries, Indigenous education, educator enablement, and pathways to higher education, all of which work together to support and enhance the student experience. Learning Design and Teaching Innovation is the University’s central teaching and learning unit, providing curriculum, content and professional development support to academic staff.
