Overview
Research Services provide strategic and operational support to the University’s research program and plays a crucial role in facilitating research outcomes.  Within Research Services, the Research Administration provide support to researchers with grant submissions and administration. The Research Contract and Funding Team (RCFT) within Research Administration is responsible for establishing research contracts, post-award administration of grants and monitoring of project deliverables and reporting.

As part of the RCFT, the Administrative Officer role is responsible for a wide range of administrative support identified in the Position Description. The role would suit an enthusiastic confident individual who enjoys administration and working with systems.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted outcomes.
  • Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ECU’s Research Management System and Content Manager would be an advantage.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $66,813 to $$71,161 pa (pro-rata) 40% plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
