Your new role

Working alongside a close knit and supportive team, you will be primarily responsible for administration within the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Establish and maintain efficient administrative processes and practices.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support and personal assistance to the Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor and Faculty General Manager
  • Provide administrative support to the Deans of Science and Engineering for Board meetings including recording decisions, facilitating actions, preparing correspondence and event related activities.
  • Maintain and keep up to date, shared repositories of information.
  • In liaison with the University’s Travel Team, arrange and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • End to end facilitation and management of the annual Student Science and Engineering awards.
  • Provide coordination and operation support for internal and course events, including but not limited to sourcing and organising venues, catering, suppliers, promotional activities, mail merges, dispatching of generic emails and diary management to the course leads.

While you do not necessarily need to be currently employed within a tertiary education setting, strong administrative experience in a similar role is essential for this position. Naturally, with your existing administrative experience, you will be familiar with the Microsoft suite of applications and be able to navigate Outlook and Word confidently.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
