About us

Our dynamic Properties, Facilities and Development (PF&D) department is responsible for the planning and management that provides a vibrant and beneficial environment for study, work, and leisure. Whilst we look after programs and facilities that Curtin has in place, we are also undertaking some exciting infrastructure programs as part of our Greater Curtin Master Plan. This includes accommodation, academic buildings, research space, curated retail, a bus transport interchange and a range of public spaces and amenities.  

Your new role  

An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join our vibrant Properties department. Working as a core member within the Business Support team, this role assists with day-to-day administrative activities, supporting the operational effectiveness of the PF&D department. 

This role requires an Administrator who is willing to work across broad administration functions and will suit someone who has a minimum of two (2) years’ general administration experience, working for small to medium sized enterprises.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Relevant experience and/or education/training. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of general administrative support and the ability to apply skills to a varied range of tasks. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with general direction. 
  • Demonstrated oral communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people in a clear and professional manner, with cross cultural sensitivity. 
  • Demonstrated ability to organise time and work activities according to priorities and to meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with skills in a wide range of applications including the Microsoft Suite
