- Base salary range: Level 4 $68,640 – $72,913 p.a. (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation

About the team
UWA Student Residences is responsible for the direct management and operations of all student residences owned by the University, including University Hall and over 200 properties situated around the Crawley Campus known as Crawley Village. Student Residences has a responsibility to ensure there is a good working relationship between the University and the neighbouring residential colleges located along College Row.
This position is located within the Residential Life area of University Hall. The Residential Life team strives to provide residents with a set of skills and experiences to assist them in becoming well-rounded, independent and caring global citizens, able to navigate their post-residential lives and relationships with confidence and resilience.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will provide front line customer service at the University Hall front desk. In addition you will provide administrative and operational assistance to the University Hall staff team who are responsible for pastoral care and educational programs, finance, transition and communication. Furthermore, database maintenance is also an important part of this role.
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate :
- Year 12 or equivalent competency
- Considerable relevant administrative experience within the university setting or similar large organisation
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email, Powerpoint
- Well-developed organisational skills and capacity to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish appropriate professional boundaries
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
- Well-developed written and verbal skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise and work with a diverse range of people
