  • Commencement Salary: $57,610 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Program Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative services to support the teaching and research activities of the Academic Unit and for the provision of high-level customer service to key stakeholders both internal and external.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all face to face, telephone and email enquiries from within and external to the University
  • Review and update Academic Unit databases such as SharePoint and other communications to maintain accuracy of information in addition to maintaining electronic and hard copy archiving systems
  • Provide high quality administrative support to staff within the Unit whilst contributing to an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a reception or administrative position involving the provision of high-quality customer service
  • Proven effective time management skills with strong prioritisation, organisation and multi-talking abilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
