About the Role 
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our student engagement team to provide support to the Director, Student Engagement and Director, Student Experience as well as efficient and professional administrative support to the Student Engagement team.

As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for the management and completion of a range of administrative requirements, in particular with respect to operational administration, finance and human resources to ensure the smooth operation of student engagement activities.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Excellent initiative and self-management skills to deal with the range of functions and tasks in a proactive manner under broad direction.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively deal with conflicting priorities on a daily basis.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and packages such as MS Office, email systems and Personal Digital Assistance (such as iPhone, Laptop and iPad).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues.
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to develop sound solutions to problems and issues including the ability to take initiative and generate solutions to unplanned scenarios.

Qualifications
  • A degree; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in areas including; Administration, Business, Management, Human Resource, Finance.
