Location: Monash Campuses (Metro / Melbourne) 

Employment Type: Casual

Duration: 16-week casual appointment with potential to renew

Remuneration: $46.23 per hour HEW 5 casual loaded rate, plus 10% employer superannuation

FAST has a workforce of 130 team members and is one of three streams within the Internal Placements & Temporary Recruitment (IPTR) Team. 

IPTR is responsible for managing professional temporary recruitment appointments across the University and sits within Monash HR. FAST provides support across the University and Monash affiliates to cover peak load, encompassing all types of leave and supports University- wide projects. The team provides high quality services in both customer‑facing and process‑oriented roles, and align to the ethos and values of OneHR - integrity, collaboration, innovation and excellence.

The role 

The FAST Administration Officer forms part of a mobile customer service and business process team.  The Administration Officer provides a broad range of administrative services according to deployment requirements, within various areas of the University. Working collaboratively, the FAST Administration Officer assists business areas in addressing peak workloads and achieving critical business outcomes.

The role is responsible for:

  • Acting as an ambassador for FAST, deployed to varying casual assignments across Monash campuses and Monash affiliates.

  • Providing exceptional stakeholder engagement, service delivery and customer service. 

  • A willingness to work proactively and to collaborate with others.

  • Excellent project and administration skills with a willingness to upskill and transfer your knowledge and experience.   

  • Professionalism, being able to work autonomously and/or as part of a team

  • Processing tasks in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to policy, procedure and legislation requirements. 

  • Digital literacy and being able to adapt to different systems
