Administration Officer, Australian Centre for Field Robotics - Part time

• Part time (14 hrs per week) fixed term for 12 months

• Base Salary, HEO 5 $78,077 p.a. - $ 87,420 p.a. (pro rata) + 17% superannuation 

About the opportunity

We are seeking a new member to join our team to work under the direction of the Administration Manager, supporting the activities of the Centre’s administration office.  The Administration Officer assists in providing a broad range of administrative support to meet the needs of staff, postgraduate and visiting research students within the Centre.

We are looking for someone to work 2 days per week (Wednesday & Friday).

Your key responsibilities will be:

• general administrative services and operational support
• onboarding and general support for postgraduate and visiting students
• to maintain accurate record keeping and reporting

The Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) is based in the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME) at The University of Sydney, and is dedicated to the research, development, application and dissemination of autonomous and intelligent robots and systems for operation in outdoor environments. It is now the largest robotics and automation research group in Australia and is also one of the largest of its kind in the world.  It has been instrumental in developing breakthrough technologies and in conducting world-leading research and development of field robotics principles and systems.
