- Salary range: $64,166 - $72,321 per annum (plus superannuation)
About the Role
Based in Whyalla and reporting to the Manager: Department of Rural Health (Rural Operations), this role works closely with the Coordinator: Department of Rural Health (DRH) Student Support to provide accommodation and well-being support to students undertaking regional placements. The Accommodation and Student Support Officer will also manage and coordinate documentation accommodation requirements, student engagement and location orientation, and will liaise closely with DRH staff with regards to student well-being during placements.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide information to staff and students relating to student placements and accommodation
- Provide support and a range of administrative services related to accommodation for students on placement within the region
- Maintain regular contact with students to ensure they are managing their rural placements
- Provide assistance to the Coordinator: DRH Student Support
- Coordinate the payment of invoices for accommodation services, student transport and student payments
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative role
- Experience working with the provision of support services (preferably student accommodation sector) to diverse groups
- Proven experience providing superior customer service to internal/external stakeholders
- Solid verbal and written communication skills and high-level organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience using information systems and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
