  • Commencement Salary: $65,766 (0.4 pro rata) (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for two individuals to join the Justice and Society team at UniSA.

As an Academic Services Officer you will be responsible for undertaking administrative activities associated with the delivery of the Academic Unit’s programs and its teaching and learning activities. Your previous experience in administration, working in a team environment and the ability to deliver quality customer service, will be critical to the success of the role.

We currently have two vacancies; one is a full-time fixed term contract until 3 February 2023 based at the Magill campus and the other is a part-time (0.4 FTE) fixed term contract until 29 July 2022 based at the City West campus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Undertake a broad range of administrative activities to support the delivery of the Academic Unit’s programs and courses
  • Liaise with students to advise placement requirements and arrangements
  • Provide information and support to staff, students and key stakeholders as required
  • Respond to queries and requests, using reports and data to inform responses as required
  • Contribute to an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in an administrative role in a team-based service environment
  • Proven experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including preparation of written materials
  • High level of organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Post secondary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
