  • 1x full-time, continuing position and 1 x full-time, fixed-term contract ending 31 December 2023
  • Commencement Salary: $67,739 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Roles

The full-time continuing position is responsible for undertaking administrative activities associated with the delivery of UniSA Business courses, with a focus on supporting Course Coordinators and Academic Integrity Officers with course outlines, exams, results and academic integrity.

The full-time fixed-term contract position is responsible for undertaking administrative activities associated with casual contracts and the delivery of the Academic Unit’s timetabling function for assigned program/s within UniSA Business in consultation with the UniSA Business Timetabler, Program Director and Course Coordinator to ensure planning timeframes are met.

Core Responsibilities

  • Undertake the timetabling function for assigned program/s within UniSA Business in consultation with the UniSA Business Timetabler, Program Director and Course Coordinator to ensure planning timeframes are met
  • Undertake a broad range of administrative activities to support the delivery of UniSA Business programs and courses, in consultation with key stakeholders. This includes but is not limited to;
    • maintenance of all programs, course and teaching material, minor course / program amendments, program accreditation, and providing support for assessments and result entry. It may also include scholarships and awards processes and providing support to the Academic Integrity Officer as required
  • Provide administrative support to academic staff and higher degree by research students, as required
  • Provide information and support to key stakeholders on matters relating to the interpretation and application of the University’s academic and research policies and procedures
  • Contribute to an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement 

Essential Skills and Experience 
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role in a team-based service environment
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills including preparation of written materials and experience in liaising with people at all levels both internal and external to an organisation to deliver quality customer service
  • Established experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities under broad direction
  • Demonstrated experience in using information systems and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
