Overview

ECU is seeking an experienced research academic for an internal appointment to the role of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Course Coordinator. This important research leadership role will assist in the delivery, coordination and continuous improvements of HDR courses across the University. 

The role is a fractional appointment (0.5 FTE) and report directly to the Dean, Graduate Research but work closely with all stakeholders in the delivery of HDR programs, including all Schools, Research Services and Student Admissions. Applicants should have a proven track record in research leadership including extensive experience in HDR supervision and research training. Applicants are also required to have appropriate experience and understanding of curriculum design and governance.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Courage and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This part time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $160,672.00 - $176,649.00 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
