Medical school rankings

As with any other majors, before deciding a university to pursue your Medical degree you should do a thorough comparisons of different colleges.

The medical schools are ranked based on peer assessment, research performance, residency director assessment, total students going into primary care, student selection, GPA, acceptance rate and most importantly the quality of the education provided.

You also need to keep in mind that different universities are strong in different fields. For example, Johns Hopkins is strong in medical research while University of Washington focuses on primary care studies. The more popular the school is, the more competitive to get an admission offer.

What are the factors that impact your choices: medical school rankings, tuition fees, accommodation, student social life, travel expenses and other factors.
