The Wendy Hultsman New American University Scholarship was developed to provide financial support to students pursuing the Special Event Management Certificate in the School of Community Resources and Development.
Dr. Wendy Hultsman was on the faculty for 28.5 years before retiring in 2018.

4. Complete a personal vision statement of no more than 500 words that demonstrate a commitment to and a promise for a professional career in the field of Special Event Management
