Description The United Negro Fund and Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical join in supporting the career development of at least 4 underrepresented minority postgraduates in biomedical research fields. Each scholar will be mentored by a Parke-Davis staff scientist. One to two year fellowship, nonrenewable.
Award Amount Provides a maximum of $53,500 of support, including a $44,500 stipend, fringe benefits, equipment, supplies, and travel funds.
Disciplines Life Sciences. Physical Sciences. School of Engineering. Health Sciences. Limited to biomedical related fields.
Academic Level Postdoctoral Scholar.
Citizenship No citizenship requirements.
Requirements Must hold doctoral degree in a life or physical science and be a member of a minority group underrepresented in the biomedical research fields.
