Trevor Prescott Memorial Scholarship
Description: The Masonic Foundation has established a scholarship scheme to commemorate the contribution made by the late Trevor Prescott to education and youth in the community. The scholarship aims to enable a young person to achieve their ambition in any worthwhile endeavour and to return a significant contribution to the community.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to Australian citizens who are residents of South Australia or the Northern Territory and are aged between 20 and 30 as at 30 June in the year of application. Scholarships are open to all those who wish to obtain experience or knowledge or skill in an approved field of endeavour in Australia or overseas. There are no prescribed qualifications, academic or otherwise. Preference is not given to a Freemason or to a member of his family. The scholarship will not normally be granted to applicants wishing to complete school or undergraduate studies.
Annual Amount: 20000
Amount Comment: The scholarship is valued at up to a maximum of $20,000, and may be divided between multiple recipients.
Application closing date: 30 June
Other Details: The Foundation accepts no financial responsibilities for any expenses incurred by the scholarship awardee which are in excess of the value of the scholarship. The awardee is responsible for travel arrangements and documentation. The awardee is responsible
