Short Description:An institutional scholarship program open to Osteopathic Medicine students.
Long Description:

We are pleased to announce The Albert Victor and Mary P. Kalt Scholarship for the academic year 2013-2014. Established June 1977, this scholarship fund is available to osteopathic medicine students who express a desire to work in primary care in an underserved/rural area.

Scholarship Criteria:
  • Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrate financial need as determined by the 2012-2013 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Applicants must submit a letter addressed to the Western University of Health Sciences, Scholarship Committee requesting consideration. The letter must express the applicant’s desire to work in primary care in an underserved/rural area.
