The Department of Health Systems and Population Health has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Student Services Counselor. The Student Services Counselor position is part of the team supporting the graduate degree programs in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health (HSPop). The primary focus of this position is on the Online Master of Public Health (Online MPH). Working under the direction of the Program Manager, the Student Services Counselor will administer the student advising programs and professional development activities.

This position will work towards diversity goals related to admissions and student support, and will be expected to know and work toward the strategic goals of the Department and School of Public Health. Additionally, the Student Services Counselor will use independent judgment in interpreting and applying the rules and regulations of the programs, HSPop, and the University of Washington.

Housed in the UW School of Public Health, HSPop is a dynamic academic and research department with the mission of working with partners in public health and health care to prepare leaders, design solutions, and conduct innovative research that is translated into practice and policy. The Department is steadfast in its efforts to improve and promote the health of all populations, and staff contribute daily and directly to the work of faculty, students, researchers and other staff, providing support and expertise to the Department's common cause.
