Job Summary
The Center on Aging seeks a Research Administrative Coordinator/Clinical to be responsible for all aspects of project management on multiple NIH and industry sponsored grants and report to the Principal Investigators (PI). This will include interacting as a primary contact with referring physicians; recruitment and scheduling of subjects; maintaining human subjects/IRB materials; oversight of data collection and data entry. This individual will serve as the direct supervisor for clinical trials (staff of 2 clinical research assistants). Will prioritize and distribute work duties to maintain efficient operations; track work productivity and develop organizational plans to maximize research subject engagement and fulfill contract obligations; responsible for psychological testing and interviewing; obtain medical records; maintain bio-specimens; provide monthly contact with participants and family; interact with regional Alzheimer's Association and related organizations; assist with participant evaluations including cognitive and functional assessment measures. This individual will be the interdisciplinary coordination liaison. Will coordinate inter-departmental interactions with necessary staff and facilities including the IRB, radiology, MRI & PET, CR-DOC/CCTS staff, Investigational pharmacy, and UK Alzheimer's Center Clinical and Education Cores. Will be responsible for the organization and structuring of Investigator meetings and study monitor visits; responsible for all subject recruitment for an average 5-7 studies at any given time; ensure subject appropriateness and eligibility prior to screen evaluations; responsible for community and referring physician outreach involving regular presentations, development of and maintenance of study recruitment and educational materials; maintain database of subjects for future trial recruitment; plan events, coordinate newsletters, establish and facilitate appropriate referrals for community resources.  
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Training and/or experience in neuropsychological cognitive and functional assessment. In-depth understanding of all aspects of clinical trial operations, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
