Quota South Pacific Area Scholarship and Sheila Drummond Bursary, Quota International Inc

Description: The scholarships are open to those working in the fields of speech and hearing within the South Pacific Area: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Norfolk Island. The object of the awards is to give successful candidates the opportunity to participate in projects, to observe methods, and to take part in discussion with other workers concerned with the needs of verbal communication for speech and hearing disabled people.

Eligibility: Applicants must: be residents of and work in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji or Norfolk Island. The scholarship is open to people pursuing careers in the fields of speech and hearing. Scholarships are available to academic or non-academic applicants. The scholarships are not awarded for individual commercial gain. There must be agreement that the successful candidate will return to the fields of work from which the original application emanated, and a full report must be submitted as soon as possible upon completion of the scholarship.

Annual Amount: 7000

Amount Comment: The scholarship is valued at up to $7,000, and the Sheila Drummond Bursary up to $4,000.

Other Details: When the QSPA Scholarship/s are awarded, the second scholarship shall be known as the Sheila Drummond Bursary. Applications are available to download from the website: www.quotaspas.org.au.
