Nickson Travelling Scholarship
Description: The funds for the scholarship have been donated in order to perpetuate the memory of Dr Arthur Ernest Howard Nickson, who for nearly 60 years taught in the University Conservatorium of Music.
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to graduates and diplomates of approved universities in Victoria, as well as arts graduates with a major in music, who wish to pursue musical studies overseas.
Annual Amount: 4164
Amount Comment: The value of the scholarship varies depending on the net annual income of the fund. As a guide, $4,164 was available in 2010.
Application closing date: 31 August
Other Details: The scholarship is offered biennially in even-numbered years.
