Jim and Maureen Hackett have generously endowed a substantial scholarship for a student in the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership. The successful candidate will have demonstrated academic excellence and show evidence of ethical leadership potential in the public sector (government, military, intelligence, politics etc.) and/or private sector (business, non-profits, law, academia, the arts etc.).

In the "Additional Documentation" section please upload a copy of your unofficial transcripts from all colleges/univeristies attended and your resume.

In the "Supplemental Essay" section please provide a 500-word essay describing your contributions in leadership, civic engagement, and/or community service as a SCETL student and explaining how your SCETL education will help you achieve your post-graduation ambitions.

Appplicants for the Maureen O'Gara Hackett scholarship must be majors or minors in Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership or be earning the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Certificate.
