HARVARD ACADEMY FOR INTERNATIONAL AND AREA STUDIES, THE ACADEMY SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Description   Two year scholarship for advanced dissertation or postdoctoral level work at Harvard University. Intended for scholars pursuing an academic career involving a social science discipline and area studies. Approximately 5 scholars will be selected. 
Award Amount   Pre-doctoral scholars will receive an annual stipend of $28,000. Postdoctoral scholars will receive an annual stipend of $62,000. 
Disciplines   Social Sciences. School of Law.  
Academic Level   Working on Doctoral Dissertation. Postdoctoral Scholar.  
Citizenship   No citizenship requirements.  
Requirements   Open only to recent Ph.D. recipients and doctoral candidates. Those still pursuing a Ph.D. should have completed their routine training and be well along in the writing of their theses before becoming Scholars; those in possession of a Ph.D. longer than 3 years are ineligible.
