Student Veterans of America (SVA), in association with Google, awards 8 scholarships to student veterans in computer science or other closely related fields. Recipients will be invited to attend Google's Summer Annual Scholars' Retreat as a networking opportunity.
Eligibility & Requirements
Must be currently enrolled at a university for the academic year. Intend to be enrolled as a full time student at a university in the US for the upcoming academic year. Be pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field. Be a current student veteran. Have received an honorable discharge or be in good standing with his/her branch of service. Resume/CV. Transcripts. DD Form 214 Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty, or Active Duty orders and a Memorandum of Understanding from commanding unit. 2 letters of reference. 3 essay responses.
