Description Approximately 200 three-year fellowships, support graduate study leading to a doctoral degree in science and engineering disciplines of military importance.
Award Amount Stipend of $30,500 for the first year, $31,000 for the second year, and $31,500 for the third year in addition to full tuition and required fees(excluding room and board), and up to $1,000 per year for medical insurance.

Citizenship Open only to U.S. citizens.
Requirements Fellows do not incur any military or other service obligation. Fellowships are intended for students at or near the beginning of their doctoral studies in science or engineering. Applicants must have received or be on track to receive their bachelor's degrees by the end of the academic year.
