The Evans School has an outstanding opportunity for an Admissions and Student Affairs Specialist, Global MPA & PhD Programs to join the Admissions and Student Services Office at the Evans School, which serves nearly 500 enrolled students, across the MPA, Global MPA, EMPA and PhD programs.  The Admissions and Student Affairs Specialist reports to the Director of Admissions and supports the MPA, Global MPA and PhD program recruitment and admissions efforts and processes, as well as provides management support for the Global MPA and PhD programs and general support for the Student Services Office, advising prospective students, supporting current students, events and activities.  This position is responsible for staffing the office’s front desk, overseeing coverage with student office assistants, and provides general support as an office manager for the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide advising and program management support for MPA, Global MPA and PhD admissions, for PhD program current students, and to support the Evans School’s Student Services office, providing general administration support at the front desk and providing excellent customer service to Evans School faculty, staff, students and visitors. The Admissions and Student Affairs Specialist has indirect supervision over student workers in order to accomplish administrative tasks.
