We are looking to appoint enthusiastic people with an interest in undergraduate admissions to join our team of Undergraduate Selectors.
Based within the Undergraduate Admissions Office, you will be responsible for assessing and making decisions on UCAS applications for a particular group of undergraduate programmes, liasing with academic staff in (internal) schools on assessment criteria and throughout the application process, working as part of a team responsible for undergraduate admissions to two faculties.
You will also be expected to contribute to the wider work of the Student Recruitment, Access and Admissions team as required, with a specific focus on those activities which relate to widening participation, student recruitment and induction/registration of new students.
Post 1 is offered on a six month fixed-term contract (September 2012 - March 2013), 35 hours per week.
Post 2 is offered on a three month fixed-term contract (September 2012 - December 2012, with the possibility of extension), 35 hours per week.
