Salary
£16376 to £19411 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance
This is a full time position and will be offered on a fixed-term basis and is available from June 2012 to 31 May 2013 to cover a period of maternity leave.

Applications are invited for an experienced administrator with relevant experience in a related sector.  Duties include processing undergraduate applications in a speedy and efficient manner and administering processes related to undergraduate admissions in order to provide an efficient high-quality service to schools/departments and applicants.

Candidates must have good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and experience of working as part of a team.  Candidates must be educated to at least A level standard (or equivalent) and have proven IT skills, including experience of using MS Office applications. Candidates must also have experience of working with a records management system e.g. personnel or student database and of working in a customer-focused environment.

Please note that there are particularly busy periods of the year (especially some weeks in August and September) when it will not be possible to take annual leave.
