USA Masters Scholarship and Postgraduate Funding Opportunities, University of Nottingham

You can apply for this scholarship if you:

• 
  are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) the USA AND
  
• 
  are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
  
• 
  are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate AND
  
• 
  already have, or expect to receive, a final CGPA of no less than 3.2 AND
  
• 
  already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme (including MRes) at Nottingham in September 2013 – any subject area (excluding MBA).
  

In partnership with our alumni association – The Friends of The University of Nottingham: America – we will also award one $6,000 from the applications above.

The closing date for applications is 24 May 2013 – 12 mid-day (UK time).

We aim to notify applicants of the outcome within 6 weeks of the closing date.

Fulbright Awards – The University of Nottingham is delighted to offer one fee waiver each year, in partnership with the Fulbright Commission, for a graduate student to pursue a one year masters degree programme at The University of Nottingham, any subject area. Students must apply to The University of Nottingham for a place of study, and separately to the Fulbright Commission for scholarship consideration – more information and an application form.

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. The University of Nottingham is pleased to offer a scholarship for graduate study in any subject at either masters or doctoral level. The award will be for two years (with a possibility of a third year for doctoral studies) – more information.

US Federal Loans – The University of Nottingham is eligible to certify loan applications for the Federal Direct Loan Program (FDLP). These include Stafford Loans and Graduate Plus Loans. We can also certify Parent Plus loans and private loans such as Signature Loans – more information.
