Description
The School of Oral and Dental Sciences is looking to appoint a Speciality Dentist in Paediatric Dentistry to work two days per week for a fixed-term period of six months.
You will contribute significantly to the undergraduate teaching in paediatric dentistry. Your career to this point should be broadly based but with a clear focus in paediatric dentistry. It is hoped that you will already hold a suitable higher qualification and have experience in teaching and training. Enthusiasm for your subject and a wish to communicate that to the next generation of dental surgeons is essential; your CV should show clear evidence of successful clinical activity in the field of paediatric dentistry.
It is anticipated that honorary clinical status will be sought on your behalf although this is primarily a teaching post and does not come with a NTN. The post is available immediately.
The School of Oral and Dental Sciences is continuing to recruit research and teaching posts to strengthen existing teaching and research areas and provide a foundation for our research ambitions. We have continued development in a new outreach teaching clinic in South Bristol which opened in 2012. The opportunities are unlimited for established academics who wish to join a Dental School well supported by a forward-thinking University.
