This new part-time (0.1 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2026.

The role

You will contribute to teaching in one or more of the disciplinary areas in the department and depending on depending on need and your experience, the role may include teaching and tutorial delivery, marking of assessment and project supervision. You are expected to work collaboratively with others to find solutions to specific academic issues and liaise with student bodies whenever necessary. You should be a pro-active person with a passion for education and teaching. This is a 0.1 FTE role to cover teaching for a Colleague’s external buy-out.

About you:

Candidates should possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist and core knowledge in the discipline, demonstrated by a PhD (or nearing completion) or equivalent in Mathematics and Statistics, to develop teaching programmes, and teach and support learning;
