It is not necessary for Instrumental Scholars to read for degrees in Music. All applicants must submit a 15 minute CD recording of their performances which should be authenticated by their ubstrumental or music teacher. Successful applicants have normally completed ABRSM Grade 8 or reached an equivalent standard at least a year before their application.
