Addressing imbalances in the representation of our student community, we are pleased to announce the award of fully funded PhD scholarship for students residing in the UK who are eligible for home fees and who identify as being black-heritage (encompassing African, Caribbean, and black-mixed heritage).

Funding details:

  • 3.5 year fully-funded studentship
  • Tuition fees
  • Minimum annual stipend of £17,668 for the duration of the scholarship

This scholarship is open to students residing in the UK who are eligible for home fees and who identify as black-heritage (encompassing African, Caribbean, and black-mixed heritage).

To be considered for this award you must:

  • Hold (or be about to obtain) an upper second class honours undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines (or related disciplines): Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Engineering Project Management, Mechanical Engineering
