Digital security and its impact on economic results in companies in the context with the use of artificial intelligence

The main goal of the work is to examine the relationship between digital security and economic business outcomes, focusing specifically on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on this relationship. The work tries to understand how security measures affect economic business performance and what role AI plays in optimizing these measures and managing risks. At the same time, it tries to identify the best practices and recommendations for businesses on how to use AI to improving its security and economic performance in the era of continuous digital development threats and potential loss of important data. The first part of the work focuses on the analysis the current state of digital security in businesses and their economic results. Includes review of existing trends in cyber security, cost of protection against threats and damage caused by cyber attacks. To get data about digital of security in companies, a questionnaire survey will be carried out. Subsequently, the work will be reviewed the impact of the implementation of artificial intelligence on digital security and its economic results in businesses. It will analyze how AI helps in threat detection and prediction, automates security processes and improves the ability of businesses to quickly respond to cyber attacks. Last but not least, the thesis proposes recommendations and strategies for businesses to optimize its security measures with AI to improve its economic performance and risk management. These recommendations should be based on a thorough analysis of current trends and best practices in the field of digital security and artificial intelligence. Data for this sub-goal will be obtained from the databases of the National Security Office, Slovak Association for Cyber Security, the Slovak Information Security Agency and from ESET. Overall, this dissertation aims to provide a comprehensive view of the relationship between digital security, business economic results and usage artificial intelligence, which should provide important insights and recommendations for businesses in their efforts to protect against cyber threats and improve their performance. The results could help businesses better understand the importance of investing in digital security, identify the best practices and strategies they can implement to protect their assets and increase your competitiveness in today's digital environment.

Digitálna bezpečnosť a jej vplyv na ekonomické výsledky v podnikoch v kontexte s využitím umelej inteligencie

Hlavným cieľom práce je preskúmať vzťah medzi digitálnou bezpečnosťou a ekonomickými výsledkami podnikov, pričom sa špecificky zameriava na vplyv umelej inteligencie (AI) na tento vzťah. Práca sa snaží porozumieť, ako bezpečnostné opatrenia ovplyvňujú hospodársku výkonnosť podnikov a akú úlohu zohráva AI v optimalizácii týchto opatrení a riadení rizík. Zároveň sa snaží identifikovať najlepšie postupy a odporúčania pre podniky, ako využiť AI na zlepšenie svojej bezpečnosti a ekonomickej výkonnosti v dobe neustáleho rozvoja digitálnych hrozieb a potenciálnej straty dôležitých údajov. Prvá časť práce sa zameriava na analýzu súčasného stavu digitálnej bezpečnosti v podnikoch a ich ekonomických výsledkov. Zahrňuje preskúmanie existujúcich trendov v oblasti kybernetickej bezpečnosti, nákladov na ochranu pred hrozbami a škôd spôsobených kybernetickými útokmi. Pre získanie údajov o digitálnej bezpečnosti v podnikoch bude realizovaný dotazníkový prieskum. Následne práca preskúma vplyv implementácie umelej inteligencie na digitálnu bezpečnosť a jej ekonomické výsledky v podnikoch. Bude analyzovať, ako AI pomáha pri detekcii a predikcii hrozieb, automatizuje bezpečnostné procesy a zlepšuje schopnosť podnikov rýchlo reagovať na kybernetické útoky. V neposlednom rade práca navrhuje odporúčania a stratégie pre podniky, ako optimalizovať svoje bezpečnostné opatrenia pomocou AI s cieľom zlepšiť svoju ekonomickú výkonnosť a riadenie rizík. Tieto odporúčania by mali byť založené na dôkladnej analýze aktuálnych trendov a najlepších postupov v oblasti digitálnej bezpečnosti a umelej inteligencie. Údaje pre tento čiastkový cieľ budú získané z databáz Národného bezpečnostného úradu, Slovenskej asociácie pre kybernetickú bezpečnosť, Slovenskej informačnej bezpečnostnej agentúry a od spoločnosti ESET. Celkovo má táto dizertačná práca za cieľ poskytnúť ucelený pohľad na vzťah medzi digitálnou bezpečnosťou, ekonomickými výsledkami podnikov a využitím umelej inteligencie, čo by malo poskytnúť dôležité poznatky a odporúčania pre podniky v ich úsilí o ochranu pred kybernetickými hrozbami a zlepšenie ich výkonnosti. Výsledky by mohli pomôcť podnikom lepšie pochopiť dôležitosť investícií do digitálnej bezpečnosti, identifikovať najlepšie postupy a stratégie, ktoré môžu implementovať na ochranu svojich aktív a zvýšenie svojej konkurencieschopnosti v dnešnom digitálnom prostredí. Téma pre uchádzačov o dennú formu štúdia.
