Engineering: Research Fellow
Research Fellow
You will be part of a consortium of leading European Universities in The Netherlands, Italy and Hungary, the imaging division of a major European semiconductor manufacturer and a nuclear diagnostic medical imaging SME. The primary focus of this research, funded by an EC Framework 7 Small or Medium Scale Focused Research Project (STREP) Grant, is to develop sensors for next generation biomedical imaging systems based on CMOS single photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). You will be required to test and characterize newly developed CMOS sensors for Positron Emission Tomography. There will be opportunities to work with industrial design engineers and researchers at the other European locations.
