Centre for Inflammation Research: Chancellor's Fellowship in Inflammation Research

As part of a major planned investment in its academic staff the College is seeking to recruit a Chancellors Fellow to join the research group headed by Professors Iredale and Anderton as an emerging principle investigator working on T-Cell biology and signalling. The post will be based in the Colleges MRC sponsored Centre for Inflammation Research.

The successful candidate, who will be appointed to a 5-year Fellowship, will be an outstanding early-career academic who has already shown the ability to conduct world-leading research and exhibited clear potential to become an international leader in the field of Inflammation, T-Cell biology and prostanoid signalling. The Fellow will be able to concentrate on research in the first instance, acquiring the full duties of University Lecturer across the period of the Fellowship. Subject to satisfactory formal review at the end of 3 years, the Fellow will transfer to an open-ended lectureship.

Appointment will be made on the Lecturer scale (£37,012 - £44,166).

Applications should contain a detailed CV and a 1-page outline of a proposed research programme.
