Offer Description
I. Project description
The present project aims to extend our understanding of the phenomenology of the rotating quark-gluon plasma (QGP) formed in relativistic heavy ion collisions by addressing the following open questions: The Phase diagram of rotating QGP (O1); Gravitational analogies of heavy-ion collisions (O2); Spin polarization (O3); Physics of Euclidean rotation (O4).
II. Responsabilities and tasks:
- Within this project we organise the selection process for two PhD Students, to occupy the positions numbered D4 and D5 in the Job title list.
- The positions are subordinate to the project director, Prof. Maxim N. Chernodub.
- The successful candidates will have tasks within the following activities:
- D4:
- A1.3 (Signatures of the inhomogeneous phase in the diphoton and dilepton spectra.)
- A2.3 (Emission rates for diphotons and dileptons, and thermal hadronic yields)
- D5:
- A3.3 (Spin-vector dominance in s-quark–hyperon conversion cross-sections)
- D4:
