Applications are open for 1 Research Studentship, within the framework of project PRODUTECH R3 (Recuperação-Resiliência-Reindustrialização) - Agenda Mobilizadora da Fileira das Tecnologias de Produção para a Reindustrialização, financed under invitation notice n. 02/C05-i01/2022 framed and financed under the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Portugal
Workplan: The work plan is part of WP9 – SmartIL- of the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda (Recovery-Resilience-Reindustrialisation).
1) Development of optimal control and estimation techniques for Autonomous Robotic Vehicles.
2) Experimental validation in the laboratory using Autonomous Robotic Vehicles.
3) Preparation of scientific articles.
4) Support in the creation of industrial prototypes.
5) Support in the preparation of deliverables and progress reports.
Duration: The research fellowship will have the duration of 6 months. It’s expected to begin in February 2024, and may be eventually renewed up to the maximum of 42 months.

Benefits
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tabela-de-Valores-SMM_2023.pdf ), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is 1.199,64€, being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer.

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: In the first phase, 3 candidates will be selected based on their CV and letter of motivation with a weighting of 70% and 30% respectively. The candidates selected in the first phase will then be selected through an individual interview.

Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
