In a second phase, the use cases and system requirements will be analysed and specified, working closely with other members of the InsectERA project team. Based on the results of these two phases, an opensource LIMS system will be chosen to support the future development of the system.

The work will be carried out in accordance with the following phases:

  • Research into open-source LIMS systems;
  • Critical and comparative analysis of LIMS systems;
  • Analyze and specification of users, use cases and requirements;
