Offer Description
Applications are open for one (1) Research Studentship for a bachelor or master student within the framework of project/R&D institution (title of the project R2UTechnologies, internal reference 1018P.06284, financed by Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR-IAPMEI)
Workplan: The work plan includes: (1) Support in the preparation of numerical models; (2) Conducting parametric studies on the seismic behaviour of precast concrete structures with mechanical connections; (3) Processing and analysis of results; (4) Support in disseminating the results.
Duration: The research fellowship will have a duration of 6 months. It’s expected to begin in April 2024 and may be eventually renewed up to a maximum of 6 months.
It is mandatory to formalize applications with the submission of the following documents: i) B1 Form – Fellowship application (http://drh.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/bolseiros/formularios/ ); ii) Curriculum Vitae; iii)academic degree certificate; iv) motivation letter; and v) proof of enrolment at an academic degree course (PhD or at a course that does not award an academic degree; required only at the stage of signing the scholarship contract.

Benefits
Monthly maintenance allowance: According to the values for Research Fellowships awarded by FCT in Portugal (https://www.fct.pt/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tabela-de-Valores-SMM_2023.pdf ), the amount of the monthly maintenance allowance is €541.12 (bachelor or master student) being the payment method an option of the Fellow by Wire Transfer/Check.

Selection process
Selection methods: The selection methods will be the following: Curriculum Vitae (75%); motivation letter (15%); and individual interview for final selection (15%).

Announcement/ notification of the results: The final evaluation results will be communicated to all applicants by email.
Deadlines and procedures of complaint and appeal . A complaint may be lodged from the final decision within 15 working days, or an appeal to the Executive Board of IST within 30 working days, both counted from the respective notification
