The Tertiary Education Grant policy of the Board is dependant upon budget allocation and number of applications received.
The Tertiary Education Grant application forms will be available from 1 March 2012 from www.tuhoe.iwi.nz.
2012 closing dates to be announced
All tertiary students must be of Tuhoe descent and in full time study or accredited National Standard EFTS points (0.3 or more).
All students must:
Be registered on the Tribal Register of the Tuhoe Waikaremoana Maori Trust Board
Be of Tuhoe descent deriving their interest from an original owner of an approved list of blocks, (registration form can be downloaded from www.tuhoe.iwi.nz).
Complete all sections of the application
Enclose an attendance certification from the school or institute of learning
Enclose a bank account verification form (no cheques will be posted)
Must supply copies of previous years study results
Ensure application is legible
All successful applicants will be notified by written correspondence or email.
The Trust Board holds no obligation to submit any reason as to why an application may be declined.
Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
