The money for this scholarship has been made available by a bequest from the estate of Edith Fraser who wished that it be used for an award in agricultural or silvicultural sciences.
The scholarship shall be tenable in any university in New Zealand for postgraduate study in either agricultural science or silvicultural science.
Applicants must be graduates of a New Zealand university and be New Zealand citizens.
The scholarship will be tenable for a period of one to two years and be of such an amount as the New Zealand Vice Chancellors' Committee from time to time will decide, having regard to the income available for the purpose (the current value is $5,000 per annum).
Applications close with the Scholarships Office, Graduate Research School on 1 October. Full regulations and application forms are available from the NZVCC website: www.nzvcc.ac.nz
