Postdoctoral Fellow In Obstetrics And Gynaecology (Christchurch)
DEPARTMENT OF OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to assist with the running and reporting of a large multi-centre HRC funded clinical study. This is a prospective observational study of young women with moderate screen detected abnormalities of the cervix (CIN2).
This project has accrued nearly 200 participants and we are hoping to recruit up to a total of 600 in an increasing number of New Zealand and Australian centres. The study was initially funded by the Cancer Society of New Zealand and has been awarded funding by the HRC commencing October 2013 for 4 years.
The main objectives of the role would be:
- To assist with the running of this international multicentre trial
- To assist with the coordination of the work of the collaborators
- To analyse data and present it at scientific meetings
- To write up results for publication in international journals
This is part-time (0.5FTE), fixed-term position for 4 years.
