History or background of award
A scholarship, supported by the Royal Society of New Zealand Marsden Fund, is available for a Master's student to work in the School of Psychology at Victoria University of Wellington, in Wellington, New Zealand.

Purpose of award
This tuition fees scholarship is for maximum of 2 years working on the first NZ nationally funded project in environmental psychology and will, it is hoped, have a major impact in the field. Although environmental in focus, the project will be run in collaboration with the cognitive lab from Humboldt University in Berlin, led by Professor Elke van der Meer, and will use theoretical frameworks from social psychology.

Selection criteria

Fees up to NZ$7,000 per annum scholarship up to NZ$15,000 per annum.
